The Redzone Way

Manufacturing Is Powered by People
Even though people always have been the differentiating force in manufacturing, manufacturing information systems were designed for reporting up — not for empowering frontline teams or improving outcomes in real time. Redzone flips that model by championing the frontline first.
Redzone Empowers the Frontline
When frontline teams are informed, connected, and empowered, performance automatically accelerates. Redzone digitizes the shop floor with an intuitive, AI-powered experience that gives operators real-time visibility into what needs to happen next.
Redzone Equips Leaders With Strategic Insights
With real-time visibility into KPIs and other metrics, Redzone gives manufacturing leaders accurate data to help them make strategic, data-driven decisions.
Redzone Powers the Productivity Flywheel
When teams are empowered with visibility and voice, engagement rises. When engagement rises, retention improves. When retention improves, performance compounds. The result is measurable, sustained operational gains and stronger financial outcomes — proven across more than 2,000 manufacturers worldwide.
Our Story
Early 2000s
Manufacturing’s So-So Status Quo
In the early 2000s, despite decades of technology advances, manufacturing productivity was beginning to plateau — and even decline. Manufacturers were collecting more data than ever, but the outcomes didn't change.
As consultants to manufacturers, Redzone's founders saw this happening in real time. They recognized that the missing link was frontline execution, and any system — no matter how sophisticated or complex — would have limited impact on productivity if it didn’t inform, engage, and empower frontline teams.
2013 to 2024

The Most Important 20 Yards In Manufacturing
Redzone's founder, Mark Sutcliffe, was obsessed with the science of high-performing teams. Drawing from research that applied learnings from elite sports teams to business. one concept kept coming up: “red-zone efficiency.”
In American football, the red zone is the last 20 yards before the end zone. It's where games are won or lost through execution, coordination, and split-second decision-making. A football team's red-zone conversion rate is one of the strongest predictors of a winning season. Space is tight. Every player must read signals, communicate instantly, and adapt in real time.
In manufacturing, the red zone is the shop floor.
