Overview

Connect NetSuite to the Work on the Floor

Oracle NetSuite holds your assembly items and work orders. Redzone runs them on the floor. This integration links the two through the Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on, so an order goes out to the floor and the production count comes back to NetSuite without a second entry. The connection is a standard package rather than a one-off build, and it writes Redzone IDs back into NetSuite, so you can trace a record from the floor to the ERP.

Key Features

Bidirectional Synchronization

Assembly items and work orders go out to the floor; production counts come back to NetSuite. Both systems hold the same data.

Delta Sync Logic

Each sync processes only the records that changed since the last run, using lastModifiedDate, so it stays quick as your data grows.

Full Traceability

The integration writes Redzone UUIDs into NetSuite custom fields, such as custbody_redzone_count, so you can trace a count from the floor back to its NetSuite record.

Automated Scheduling

Polling runs as often as every minute, so a manager checking NetSuite sees where production stands within a minute of it happening.

How It Works

Location Mapping, Canonical Data Transformation

The integration establishes a 1:1 relationship between NetSuite Locations and Redzone Enterprises. The Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on queries NetSuite assembly items and work orders, converts the data into a canonical format, and delivers it to Redzone’s APIs. The Redzone–NetSuite integration runs on standardized protocols and requires the following technology in place before configuration.

Requirements

  • NetSuite environment

    An active sandbox or production account with assembly items and work orders turned on.

  • Redzone credentials

    API Client ID, Client Secret, and Organization/Enterprise identifiers.

  • Custom fields

    Some Redzone concepts need custom fields in NetSuite; these are defined during scoping.

    • Build: Install the Integration Pack and set the Advanced Integrations add-on environment values and process properties.
    • Test & validation: Run User Acceptance Testing (UAT) against a standard test plan.
    • Mapping: Set up NetSuite custom item fields, such as custitem_redzone_product_sync, and transaction body fields.

  5. Go Live & Support
