Redzone is constantly finding ways to cut through factory-floor friction, elevate production processes, and provide frontline teams greater visibility into their shifts. We are continually rolling out feature-packed improvements across the platform for your operations teams. Here is a look at some of the new Redzone capabilities that landed on customer plant floors this month.

Dedicated Learning Homepage
The Learning module has its own dedicated homepage button at the bottom of the app alongside every other Redzone module. One tap opens the Learning dashboard, a single training hub with all Learning module features accessible in one place: Your Training, Playbook, Skills Matrix, Forums, New Plays, and Standard Review.
Skills Matrix Redesign
The Skills Matrix has been designed for maximum visual clarity. Each cell features color-coded progress bars for learning pack completion toward the next level. The Skills Matrix also has at-a-glance indicators for preventing critical skills gaps, so managers instantly spot what needs attention, including:
- Expiring & expiring soon: Skills at or approaching their expiry date.
- Skill grant pending: Skills where a level grant is pending approval.
- Trainer: Team members qualified to train that skill.
Enhanced Centerline Security & Asset Reliability
The Reliability module supports secure centerline management, streamlined parts tracking, and automated maintenance workflows. Operators doing centerline checks can pause and resume progress anytime using the "Save for Later" function, while administrators can enforce PIN verification before launching checks to ensure only authorized users complete critical validations.
For storeroom and maintenance operations, the platform automates purchase order generation with customizable sequence prefixes, tracks breakdown statuses dynamically as work begins, and exports parts as printable QR code PDFs for fast physical inventory scanning on the plant floor.
Streamlined Floor Productivity & Global Usability
Redzone simplifies global shop-floor communication through built-in language translations and centralized downtime tracking. Operators working in multilanguage environments can translate "Problem Type" names into their configured local language on the Problem Selection screen, removing language barriers during live downtime logging.
For deeper operational analysis, tapping an asset problem in a Pareto chart routes users directly to that asset's historical occurrence list, while backend OEE calculations automatically account for idle period conversions for precise performance reporting.
