What’s New With Redzone?

Complacency and stagnation are not Redzone values — but continuous improvement and a relentless drive for excellence are! In the spirit of CI, we keep the lens turned inwards to the next innovation that will provide real value to our customers. A best-in-class group of product developers, coaches, and product managers collaborate to make real, impactful growth in the software you and your teams use to win the day.

Purchase Requests (PR) Right From the Maintenance Dashboard

Redzone Reliability is the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) built on a total productive maintenance (TPM) platform. We’re increasing the capabilities of Reliability, so customers can minimize — or even eliminate — outside integrations.

Opening a purchase request from within the Redzone app is easy.

  1. Open the Parts page from the Maintenance Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Manage > Purchase Requests.
  3. Open the Purchase Request Dashboard.
  4. Create a new request and submit for approval. The approver is notified and can approve or reject.
  5. Once approved, add the PO number.
  6. When parts are delivered, confirm receipt against that PO number, and the Inventory updates immediately in the Redzone app.

Parts Inventory By Location

Know exactly where every part is and manage inventory better: Parts can now be assigned to a location — or multiple locations — and an address. Each address has multiple dimensions — a Store Room and Find-Me Location combination — to make it easy to find parts. You can track different quantities at each address, pull from any address when consuming parts, move parts between addresses, and stage parts to a temporary location ahead of upcoming work.

Date Compliance for Global Manufacturers

Improved naming options for month names and abbreviations enables automated date validation during quality checks, regardless of the language reflected in the date. Global manufacturers can change the language of month names and abbreviations default to simply by selecting the language in Web Admin. This is specified at the product characteristic value level and pulls in automatically to any quality check.

Individual New User Progress Reports in Learning

Managers and new employees can view users' progress through assigned training plans with easy-to-read progress reports. A detailed report tracks an individual user's progress across assigned learning packs, individual items, and skills. Teams still have access to the summary skills matrix to track factory-wide training compliance and skills.

The Bottom Line

Every day, Redzone coaches are working inside manufacturing plants, learning what our customers need next. And every day, our software developers are working to deliver new solutions that meet those needs. If you're a current Redzone user and have questions about these new features — or suggestions for future upgrades — contact your coach or reach out through Redzone Connect. If you're not already a customer and want to learn more, book a demo to see what Redzone can do for your factory.
