Infor M3

Overview

A Real-Time Line Between M3 and the Floor

The integration opens a two-way line of communication between Infor M3 CloudSuite and Redzone. It runs on the Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on and calls Redzone’s REST API suite to move production, quality, and master data between the systems. M3 remains the system of record, operators stop rekeying data, and the floor gets schedule and rate changes as soon as M3 has them.

Key Features

Master Data Synchronization

Product types, SKUs, and unit conversions sync from M3 to Redzone as they change, so the floor runs to the current spec.

Location-Specific Rate Management

The integration sets and updates production rates for each Location/Product Type pairing, so run-rate targets and variance match how that line actually runs.

Automated Production Scheduling

Scheduled runs go to the right Redzone location with a unique Run ID, so two orders never land on the same slot.

Production Run Management

A status change in Redzone, such as switching to Status 20 at run start, posts back to M3, where it feeds runtime and labor variance.

Automated Quality & Inventory Holds

A failed QC check in Redzone puts the affected stock on hold in M3 before it can move downstream.

How It Works

ION APIs, Bulk Queries, and Redzone-Compatible Payloads

The integration uses the Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on to orchestrate calls to Redzone Public API endpoints for master data and to Enterprise Collaboration API endpoints for production events. It queries M3 through Infor ION bulk APIs for facilities, units of measure, and production rates, then converts the data into payloads Redzone can read. The Redzone–Infor integration runs on standardized protocols and requires the following technology in place.

Component
Requirement
ERP Version
Infor M3 CloudSuite
M3 Bulk API
EXPORTMI/Select — bulk data export for Items, Facilities, and Rates
Redzone Master Data API
POST /product-types
Redzone Scheduling API
