MaintainX

Overview

From Reactive Repairs to Proactive, Data-Driven Maintenance

Production data and maintenance data usually sit in separate systems. An operator watches a machine struggle on the line; the maintenance team finds out when someone walks over or files a ticket. That delay is where downtime grows. This integration connects the two. Redzone's production events feed MaintainX as they happen, so the CMMS shows the state of the floor in real time, and technicians can work a problem before it becomes a stoppage.

Key Features

Automated Maintenance Triggers

A machine alert or a production milestone in Redzone opens a MaintainX work order on its own. Nobody has to catch the problem and write the ticket by hand.

Real-Time Asset Health Sync

Asset status stays matched in both systems. When the floor flags an issue, the maintenance team sees it without checking a second screen.

Downtime Analytics

Equipment downtime from Redzone feeds MaintainX, so you can calculate MTBF and other reliability numbers from real production events instead of hand-kept logs.

Streamlined Communications

Operators and technicians work from the same record. A technician's note in MaintainX reaches the operator on the floor, and a floor observation reaches the technician, without a phone call.

How It Works

Event-Driven Automation, Production to Maintenance

The Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on sits between the two systems and watches Redzone production events. When a trigger fires, such as a machine alert or a set number of completed cycles, the add-on formats the data for MaintainX and creates or updates the work order through the MaintainX API. The Redzone–MaintainX integration runs on standardized protocols that require the following technology prerequisites.

Component
Requirement
Redzone Modules
Compliance and/or Reliability modules (recommended)
Redzone Event APIs
GET /events — Enterprise Collaboration API for production event monitoring
MaintainX API
MaintainX REST API (work order creation, asset status updates)
Add-on Required
Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on (MaintainX Integration Pack)

Requirements

  • MaintainX account

An active MaintainX instance with API access turned on

  • Redzone access

An active Redzone instance with permissions for the Reliability or Compliance data modules.

  • Asset alignment

Assets identified and matched across Redzone and MaintainX before go-live.

Getting Started

  1. Contact Us

Book a meeting with a Redzone Integration Specialist to discuss your goals and confirm fit.
    Schedule a call

  2. Select Your Workflows

Pick the workflows you need: Automated Work Order Creation, Asset Status Sync, or Downtime Data Export.

  3. Review Quote & Purchase

Confirm the MaintainX–Redzone Advanced Integrations add-on Integration Pack, with project fees and delivery milestones set out up front.

  4. Configuration & Testing

We tailor the solution to your environment through three phases:

    • Build: Set up API tokens for Redzone and MaintainX in the Advanced Integrations add-on.
    • Test & validation: Check the trigger logic in a staging environment, verifying work orders generate correctly for each alert type.
    • Mapping: Match Redzone asset IDs to MaintainX equipment records so that work orders route to the right asset.
